Cute Cousins

A few weekends ago we got almost all of the cousins together and the boys had a great time. From the youngest to the oldest, these FAB 5 (as uncle Russell has named them) are sure to have a great time growing up together...and maybe cause a little trouble along the way :-)

First Weekend Home

We had a nice weekend at home with our boys. We were surrounded by family which was especially important for Dennie. He had so much fun with his cousins and is adjusting very well to being a big brother. He kisses baby Jackson and wants to help do things for him. Auntie Valerie (VaVa) got him this baby Elmo so he can have his own baby to feed & take care of.

Jackson is one week old today! He is doing very well and seems to be settling well into life at home. He had his 1 week doctor appt today and is gaining weight and doing great. He's almost back to his birth weight at 7.33 lbs and it turns out he's actually 20 inches not 21...

Welcome Baby Jackson

We are so happy to share that we have another beautiful boy to join our family. Jackson Oliver Erbland was born on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 3:14p.m.
7lbs 6oz, 21 inches



Today was his original due date and we are so thankful that he made it as far as he did and that he is a healthy full term baby. It is such an amazing experience to be able to hold him and care for him each day.



He was pretty comfortable inside mommy and didn't want to budge from the breech position so the birthing experience was a little different than we'd expected. People say that your birth experience is the first lesson in parenting....things are not going to go the way you planned. It's so true. We are so happy that Jackson is here now and healthy and we can begin this new adventure as a family of four!

Big Brother Present

Thank you to our wonderful friends & family who chipped in and bought Dennie this amazing train table. He loves to play with the cars & trains and will enjoy this gift for a long time. I'm sure he'll be a good big brother and cousin by sharing his new toy :-)





We could not have gotten through the last few months (nor will we be able to get through the next few)...without Nonna. Dennie & his new brother or sister are so lucky to have such an incredibly giving and loving person in their lives. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!








With the upcoming arrival of our new little one we appreciate all the support and generosity of our loved ones. This has been a tough couple of months (and an emotional past few days) and we are so thankful to our family & friends for everything.

This blog will soon have a new member to write about & likely a new name so keep an eye out for that....or give suggestions!
