Happy Easter!

Such a big boy!

I took this video a couple of weeks ago....for a few days Dennie was really into reading "Brown Bear" and he would sit down and read the story to himself. I didn't get to catch much of the story because he got a little camera shy but just hearing him say some of it is just too cute.

I also wanted to share a few cute stories from Dennie's preschool. When I went to pick him up this morning there was a mom there and she told me that she asks her daughter who she'll see at school that day and she says "dennie." Her mom says ok and who else will be at school, and she responds, "dennie." Apparently he has either made a big impression on this little girl or the teachers are saying his name a lot...or both! :)

The teachers have shared that he is talking more with the kids and making friends. This was very apparent when I picked him up yesterday. The class was going outside to the playground for pick up time. He saw me, smiled, said hi and ran right past me to go on the slide. He had a little boy following him and as they climbed up and went down, Dennie was checking that his little buddy was behind him. It was precious!

He is growing up so fast and really becoming a little boy.

Jackson is 9 months

I can't believe that sweet baby Jacks is already 9 months old. It is so much fun to watch you learn and grow. It seems like you are changing so fast right before our eyes. You have gotten two more teeth this month so you now have 4 and they are the cutest things ever! You have had a lot of firsts this month from your first airplane ride to your first haircut. You love to experience and enjoy new things and it is a joy to watch.



You were perfect on your first airplane ride on our trip to Cali. You had many fans on the flight who loved seeing your sweet smile. You loved the trip and had a great time at the beach.



You got your first haircut last weekend at our favorite salon. First you watched your big brother Dennie get his cut and then you weren't even phased by it. Looking good!





One of your new favorite things to do is feed yourself. You have no interest in being fed anymore and would much rather do it yourself. It is very funny & messy!







Pool Day! Last weekend we had a sneak peak of summer with an 80 degree day. We got the pool out and you boys had a blast!





You make us laugh everyday & we love you with all our hearts!

Cali Part 3

Ok here's the final installment of our California adventure....Next we went to Carpinteria to spend time with our friends and their kiddos. Our friends live a few blocks from the beach and it was beautiful.

We decided to stay at a hotel near the airport on our last night. Auntie G came to see us off and we enjoyed the hotel pool before flying back the next day.

Overall it was a really great trip. The boys did great & can't wait to go on our next adventure...

Cali Part 2

Alright this is going to be a long one...there are just too many good pictures. As Gabrielle said, we make beautiful children, so its hard to choose. Hope you enjoy seeing some of the fun we had. The second part of the trip started with our time with Auntie Gabrielle & David. We had so much fun & as you can see...packed in a lot of play. Thanks again for having us and helping us keep those boys busy!
