Dennie has started getting on his hands and knees to get up onto things. He still prefers to army crawl when he has to get somewhere fast but its been amazing to see him figure out these new maneuvers.

Weekend Fun

We went to a first birthday party this weekend for one of Dennie's little friends. He had a great time...

15 months

Last week Dennie turned 15 months old and it seems to be a turning point for learning, language, and movement. He is like a sponge absorbing so much learning body parts, animal sounds, and more. He is saying a few words including: bye, cat, dog, done, choo choo, snow, and shoes. It is so fun to hear him say these words and try new ones that we try to teach him. He is also moving more and starting to make successful transitions using his knees, pulling up on everything, and cruising furniture more easily. It is very exciting to see this growth and change.

Perhaps the most exciting (and kind of scary) milestone that happened in the last week is this



Yep this is what I found when I went to get Dennie up one morning. He can stand up in his crib and now is constantly pulling himself up and crying out instead of sleeping. Yikes!

Finally Daddy took Dennie to the Doctor this week for his 15 month checkup. He is a healthy 21 pounds 9 ounces and is 2 feet 5.5 inches tall.

Happy 15 months little Dennie. We love you with all of our hearts! ♥♥♥

Dennie loves to be on the move whether he's riding around in the snow with Daddy or riding his toy train. He also got a new car seat which he loves because he's able to see a lot more around him while he's on the move around town.
